The School Horses
These horses are all competing with our students on the local show circuit and teaching them the ropes at home. Each of our horses were trained by Ashley.
Jean Lafitte
"Laffite"
Lafitte is our golden boy--literally. He has been in our lesson program for the past 16 years. He has helped teach the more advanced riders jumping and dressage. For the last 5 years he has been helping our beginners learn to canter and our intermediate riders to jump.
Pimlico's Mirage
"Blaze"
Blaze has been in our lesson program for 3 years.
He is helping the more intermediate riders with their dressage skills.
Beauregard
"Oh No"
Oh No, aka Boey has been in our lesson program for the last 4 years. He is a step up horse for our intermediate riders.
He helps them practice their jumping and dressage on a horse that is a bit more forward thinking.
Annabelle
"Annie"
Annie is our little super star. She belongs to Ashley's son Kaleb. They have been riding together for the last 6 years. She joined the lesson program 4 years ago to help with
our beginners.
Rain Dance
"Rain"
Rain is the designated super pony. She has been in Ashley's family for the last 21 years. She has had a successful show jumping career with Ashley's sister Rachel. She now belongs to Ashley's son Keith, and helps out the intermediate riders with their jumping skills.
